Proposal for Rāma’s Installation as Heir-Apparent
युनक्त्यर्थैः प्रहृष्टश्च तमसौ यत्र तुष्यति।।2.2.46।।शान्तै स्सर्वप्रजाकान्तैः प्रीतिसञ्जननैर्नृणाम्।गुणैर्विरुरुचे रामो दीप्त स्सूर्य इवांशुभिः।।2.2.47।।
yunakty arthaiḥ prahṛṣṭaś ca tam asau yatra tuṣyati | śāntaiḥ sarvaprajākāntaiḥ prītisañjananair nṛṇām | guṇair viruruce rāmo dīptaḥ sūrya ivāṃśubhiḥ || 2.2.46-47 ||
Quando se alegra, esse Rāma concede com júbilo riquezas; e, com virtudes serenas—queridas por todos os súditos e geradoras de alegria nos homens—Rāma resplandece como o sol radiante com seus raios.
When pleased, Rama bestows wealth. Like the Sun shining with his rays, He shines with his qualities of tranquil, charming and loving nature.
