Este hino paustika de um só verso invoca Sarasvatī como o seio inesgotável e nutridor do qual crescem e prosperam os «tesouros escolhidos» (vāryāṇi). Ao louvá-la como doadora de deleite, buscadora de favor, fácil de chamar e generosa, o mantra visa assegurar aumento constante de bens, prosperidade e bem-estar por meio de sua abundância fluente.
