परि॒ ग्राम॑मि॒वाचि॑तं॒ वच॑सा स्थापयामसि । तिष्ठा॑ वृ॒क्ष इ॑व॒ स्थाम्न्यभ्रि॑खाते॒ न रू॑रुपः

IAST Transliteration

pári grā́mam ivā́citaṃ vácasā sthāpayāmasi | tíṣṭhā vṛ́kṣa iva sthā́mny abhrikhā́te ná rūrupaḥ

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

As one setteth fast a village well-built round about, so by our speech we set thee firm. Stand in thy station like a tree in a dug-out socket: be not misshapen.

Translation

Como se firma por todos os lados uma aldeia bem construída, assim com a palavra te estabelecemos firme. Permanece no teu lugar como uma árvore num encaixe escavado; não te entortes, não te deformes.
