Este breve hino do complexo vrātya enquadra a liderança sacral como o eixo em torno do qual o povo (viś) e as principais instituições do Estado se alinham naturalmente. Ao nomear o Conselho (sabhā), a Assembleia (samiti), o exército (senā) e os heróis (śūrāḥ) como seguidores, ele assegura ritualmente a legitimidade política e o consentimento cívico-militar em favor do beneficiário. Seu poder se expressa como um encanto de conhecimento: aquele que «assim sabe» torna-se um priyam dhāma — um assento aceito e favorecido entre esses corpos.
