परजनस्य पूर्वमध्यमोत्तमवधा दण्डाः क्रेतृश्रोतृऋणां च ॥

Transliteration

parajanasya pūrva-madhyama-uttama-vadhā daṇḍāḥ kretṛ-śrotṛ-ṛṇāṃ ca

Translation

Para a negociação de “pessoa de outrem” (parajana), as penas são graduadas em primeira, média e máxima; e a responsabilidade estende-se também ao comprador, àquele que “ouve/assente” (intermediário ou aprovador) e ao credor.
