Mathurā—an ancient urban and pilgrimage center on the Yamunā (Kālindī), identified with modern Mathura in Uttar Pradesh, India.

The verse promotes sustained contemplative remembrance and disciplined pilgrimage practice by framing ‘seeing’ as an enduring moral-spiritual orientation rather than a one-time event.
