Kena Upanishad 2: Verse 2
श्रोत्रस्य श्रोत्रं मनसो मनो यद्वाचो ह वाचं स उ प्राणस्य प्राणः। चक्षुषश्चक्षुरतिमुच्य धीराः प्रेत्यास्माल्लोकादमृता भवन्ति॥२॥
श्रोत्रस्य श्रोत्रम् मनसः मनः यत् वाचः ह वाचम् सः उ प्राणस्य प्राणः। चक्षुषः चक्षुः अतिमुच्य धीराः प्रेत्य अस्मात् लोकात् अमृताः भवन्ति॥
śotrasya śrotraṃ manaso mano yadvāco ha vācaṃ sa u prāṇasya prāṇaḥ | cakṣuṣaś cakṣur atimucya dhīrāḥ pretyāsmāl lokādamṛtā bhavanti ||
ਇਹ ਕੰਨ ਦਾ ਕੰਨ ਹੈ, ਮਨ ਦਾ ਮਨ, ਵਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਵਾਣੀ, ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ, ਅਤੇ ਅੱਖ ਦੀ ਅੱਖ ਹੈ। ਧੀਰਜੀ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ, ਇਸ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਗਮਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਮਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
It is the ear of the ear, the mind of the mind, the speech of speech, the life-breath of the life-breath, and the eye of the eye. The wise, having transcended these, become immortal upon departing from this world.
