Sukta 7.64
आ राजाना मह ऋतस्य गोपा सिन्धुपती क्षत्रिया यातमर्वाक् । इळां नो मित्रावरुणोत वृष्टिमव दिव इन्वतं जीरदानू ॥
ā́ rājānā maha ṛtásya gopā síndhupatī kṣatriyā yātam arvā́k | iḷā́ṃ no mitrāvaruṇota vṛ́ṣṭim áva divá invataṃ jīradānū ||
ਹੇ ਦੋ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ, ਤ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਗੋਪਾ, ਸਿੰਧੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਤੀ, ਖ਼ਸ਼ਤਰੀ—ਰਾਜ-ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਵਾਲੇ—ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਓ। ਹੇ ਮਿਤ੍ਰਾਵਰੁਣ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਲ਼ਾ (ਪੋਸ਼ਕ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਣਾ) ਅਤੇ ਦਿਵ ਦੀ ਵਰਖਾ ਵੀ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੋ, ਹੇ ਜੀਰਦਾਨੂ—ਚਿਰਕਾਲੀ ਦਾਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ; ਉੱਚੇ ਜਲ ਸਾਡੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਤਰਣ।
