Indra with the Viśve Devāḥ (All Gods)
ਇਹ ਛੋਟਾ ਸੂਕਤ ਇੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵੇ ਦੇਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ “ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਠੀਕ ਕ੍ਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰੇ,” ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅਸਤਿਤਵ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਪੱਧਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਰਤਾਲ ਤੇ ਸਮਰਸਤਾ ਬਣੇ। ਇਹ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਆਦਿਤਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਰੁਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਇੰਦਰ ਸਾਡੀ ਦੇਹਧਾਰੀ ਜੀਵਨ-ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਰੱਖਿਆਕ ਬਣੇ। ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਿਰਣ-ਗੀਤ (ਅਰਕ) ਨੂੰ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੱਲ ਮੋੜਨ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸ੍ਵਧਾ—ਆਪਣਾ ਜਨਮਜਾਤ ਨਿਯਮ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਲਣਹਾਰ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ—ਮੁੜ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।

इमा नु कं भुवना सीषधामेन्द्रश्च विश्वे च देवाः ॥
ਹੁਣ ਇੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਵ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭੁਵਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਠੀਕ ਕ੍ਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰਨ—ਸਾਡੇ ਅਸਤਿਤਵ ਦੇ ਪੱਧਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਸਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਿਕਾਉਣ।

यज्ञं च नस्तन्वं च प्रजां चादित्यैरिन्द्रः सह चीकॢपाति ॥
ਇੰਦਰ ਆਦਿਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਯਜ੍ਞ, ਤਨੁ (ਦੇਹ) ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਜਾ (ਸੰਤਾਨ) ਨੂੰ ਘੜਦਾ ਹੈ; ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਸਾਧਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤ-ਧਰਮ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਪਰਿਪੂਰਨਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

आदित्यैरिन्द्रः सगणो मरुद्भिरस्माकं भूत्वविता तनूनाम् ॥
ਆਦਿਤ੍ਯਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਗੀ ਬਣਾਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਰੁਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ, ਇੰਦਰ ਸਾਡਾ ਰਖਿਅਕ ਬਣੇ—ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਤਨੂਆਂ (ਦੇਹਧਾਰੀ ਅਸਤਿਤ੍ਵ) ਦਾ ਅਵਿਤਾ, ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਯੋਗ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਲਕ।

हत्वाय देवा असुरान्यदायन्देवा देवत्वमभिरक्षमाणाः ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਦੇਵ ਅਸੁਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਨਿਕਲੇ, ਤਦ ਦੇਵ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਵਤ੍ਵ ਦੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਕਰਦੇ-ਸੰਭਾਲਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧੇ—ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਵ੍ਯ ਅਸਤਿਤ੍ਵ ਦੇ ਤੇਜਸ੍ਵੀ ਤ ਨੂੰ ਅਖੰਡ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ।

प्रत्यञ्चमर्कमनयञ्छचीभिरादित्स्वधामिषिरां पर्यपश्यन् ॥
ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਆਂ (ਸ਼ਚੀ) ਨਾਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੁੜ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਕਿਰਣ-ਗੀਤਿ ‘ਅਰਕ’ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੱਲ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ; ਤਦ ਨਿਸ਼ਚੇ ਹੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਚੌਹੀਂ ਪਾਸੀਂ ਸ੍ਵਧਾ—ਸ੍ਵ-ਨਿਯਮ ਨੂੰ—ਤੀਬਰ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਕ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੇਖਿਆ; ਉਸ ਦੀ ਜਨਮਜਾਤ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਮੁੜ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
