Sukta 9.83
गन्धर्व इत्था पदमस्य रक्षति पाति देवानां जनिमान्यद्भुतः । गृभ्णाति रिपुं निधया निधापतिः सुकृत्तमा मधुनो भक्षमाशत ॥
gandharvá itthā́ padám asya rakṣati pā́ti devā́nāṃ jánimāny ádbhutaḥ | gṛbhṇā́ti ripúṃ nidháyā nidhā́patiḥ sukṛ́ttamā madhúno bhakṣám ā́śata ||
Thus the Gandharva guards his station; wondrous, he protects the births of the gods. He seizes the hostile force by the hidden placing; the lord of the treasure. The most well-doing powers attain the honeyed portion—delight secured against the spoiler.
