शब्दवेध्य-अनर्थः, ऋषिशापः, दशरथस्य प्राणत्यागः

तदज्ञानान्महत्पापं कृत्वाहं सङ्कुलेन्द्रियः।एकस्त्वचिन्तयं बुध्या कथं नु सुकृतं भवेत्।।।।
tad ajñānān mahat pāpaṃ kṛtvāhaṃ saṅkulendriyaḥ |
ekas tv acintayaṃ buddhyā kathaṃ nu sukṛtaṃ bhavet ||
အဗိဇ္ဇာကြောင့် အကြီးမားဆုံးသော အပြစ်ကို ကျွန်ုပ် ပြုမိသဖြင့် အာရုံအင်္ဂါများလည်း ရှုပ်ထွေးလှုပ်ရှားသွားသည်။ တစ်ယောက်တည်း စိတ်ထဲတွင် “ကောင်းမှုတစ်စုံတစ်ရာ—ပရာယရှ္စိတ္တ (အပြစ်ဆပ်ခြင်း) တစ်စုံတစ်ရာ—ဘယ်လိုဖြစ်နိုင်မလဲ” ဟု တွေးတောနေခဲ့သည်။
