Dialogue on the Ethical Limits of Subsistence and the Five Great Sacrifices
Dharmavyādha, Mātaṅga, and Prasanna
It reflects a Purāṇic presentation of gṛhastha (householder) norms—evaluating ācāra (social-ritual conduct), deva-pūjā (domestic worship), and atithi-satkara (guest-honoring)—themes that overlap with Dharma-śāstra ethical frameworks.
No specific geographic site is named in this verse; the setting is a household (gṛha) context rather than a pilgrimage or regional reference.
The verse emphasizes that ethical life is observable through daily conduct—especially worship practices and the respectful honoring of guests (atithi-dharma), presented as markers of cultivated household discipline.
