FAQs

It preserves a Purāṇic formulation of ritual cosmography: associating each Veda with a cardinal direction, reflecting how textual authority and ritual space were conceptually organized in premodern Sanskrit traditions.

No single terrestrial site is named; the verse identifies cardinal directions (east, south, west, north) as a schematic sacred geography used for ritual and conceptual orientation.

A philosophical instruction of ordered reverence: maintaining harmony through disciplined orientation and respectful acknowledgment of multiple Vedic traditions within a structured cosmic space.
