छत्रप्रदानेन गृहं वरिष्ठं रथं ह्युपानद्युगसम्प्रदानात् ॥ वस्त्रप्रदानेन सुरूपता च धनैश्च पुत्रैश्च भृताः भवन्ति ॥
chatrapradānena gṛhaṃ variṣṭhaṃ rathaṃ hy upānadyugasampradānāt | vastrapradānena surūpatā ca dhanaiś ca putraiś ca bhṛtā bhavanti ||
Dengan menghadiahkan payung, diperoleh rumah yang terbaik; dengan mendermakan sepasang alas kaki, diperoleh kereta. Dengan menghadiahkan pakaian, diperoleh keelokan rupa; dan seseorang disokong oleh harta serta anak-anak lelaki.
