Description of the Forms of Infernal Torments
Naraka Yātanās
तदादिषु च सर्वेषु गुणान्तरपथं गतः ॥ यदा भवति स प्रेतस्तदा स्थावरतां व्रजेत् ॥
tad-ādiṣu ca sarveṣu guṇāntara-pathaṃ gataḥ || yadā bhavati sa pretaḥ tadā sthāvaratāṃ vrajet ||
Dan dalam semua peringkat yang bermula dari itu, dia menempuh jalan perubahan sifat-sifat; apabila dia menjadi preta, maka dia beralih kepada keadaan sthāvara, yakni makhluk yang tidak bergerak (keadaan yang tetap).
