क्वचिद्गायन् हसांश्चैव क्वचिद्दुःखेन दुःखितः ॥ क्वचित्क्रीडन् यथाकर्म क्वचिद्भुञ्जन् क्वचित्स्वपन्
kvacid gāyan hasāṁś caiva kvacid duḥkhena duḥkhitaḥ || kvacit krīḍan yathākarma kvacid bhuñjan kvacit svapan
Di suatu tempat dia bernyanyi dan ketawa; di tempat lain dia berdukacita kerana penderitaan. Di suatu tempat dia bermain menurut karmanya; di suatu tempat dia makan, di suatu tempat dia tidur.
