श्वशुरस्य गृहे नित्यं भोजनं कुरुते द्विजः ॥ वसते पितृसन्निध्ये प्रतिचारी स पुत्रकः ॥
śvaśurasya gṛhe nityaṁ bhojanaṁ kurute dvijaḥ || vasate pitṛsannidhye praticārī sa putrakaḥ ||
Di rumah bapa mertuanya, brāhmaṇa itu sentiasa menjamah makanan. Anak lelaki itu tinggal dekat ayahnya, berkhidmat dengan penuh perhatian dan tertib.
