Varaha Purana 150.3 — Adhyaya 150, Shloka 3

The Sacred Greatness of Sānandūra

FAQs

It preserves a common Purāṇic rhetorical structure: the inquirer requests deeper (guhya) teaching, prompting expansion into a new doctrinal or māhātmya segment.

No geographic location is specified here; the verse is a dialogic hinge leading into further revelation.

It models intellectual humility and disciplined inquiry—requesting further instruction respectfully and conditionally, rather than asserting certainty.
