The Greatness of the Śālagrāma Sacred Region
It offers a textual anchor for associating a Śiva shrine (Śivālaya/Nīlakaṇṭha) with Purāṇic sacred geography, relevant for heritage mapping and comparative toponymy.
Nīlakaṇṭha is referenced; in South Asian geography this name often denotes Himalayan Śiva-associated locales, though the verse alone does not fix a single modern site.
The emphasis is on the special status of tīrthas and shrines as culturally significant spaces deserving careful attention.
