Ritual Observances Aligned with the Seasons
Seasonal Devotional Procedure
atha ṛtūpaskaram || śrīvarāha uvāca || phālgunasya tu māsasya śuklapakṣasya dvādaśīm || gṛhītvā vāsantikān puṣpān sugandhā ye kramāgatāḥ ||
Kini tentang kelengkapan musim. Śrī Varāha bersabda: Pada hari dvādaśī dalam paruh terang bulan Phālguna, setelah menghimpun bunga-bunga musim bunga yang harum, diperoleh menurut tertib yang wajar, (hendaklah meneruskan upacara).
Varāha (explicit)
It documents a ritual calendar marker (Phālguna, bright fortnight, dvādaśī) and the use of botanical materials, valuable for reconstructing seasonal observance patterns in Purāṇic practice.
No specific place is named; the verse is oriented to seasonal timing and ritual materials rather than a pilgrimage site.
Ritual practice is tied to seasonal cycles and careful selection of natural offerings, implicitly encouraging attentiveness to ecological rhythms.
