नाहं दानसहस्रेण नाहं यज्ञशतैरपि ॥ तुष्यामि न तु वित्तेन ये नराः स्वल्पचेतसः
nāhaṃ dānasahasreṇa nāhaṃ yajñaśatair api || tuṣyāmi na tu vittena ye narāḥ svalpacetasaḥ
Aku tidak berpuas hati dengan seribu pemberian, tidak juga dengan seratus yajña; dan bukan pula dengan harta—yang dikejar oleh manusia yang sempit pengertiannya.
