होतोवाच ॥ इदं रहस्यं राजेन्द्र वराहेण पुरातनम् ॥ धरण्यै कथितं राजन् धेनुमाहात्म्यमुत्तमम् ॥
hotovāca | idaṃ rahasyaṃ rājendra varāheṇa purātanam | dharaṇyai kathitaṃ rājan dhenumāhātmyam uttamam ||
Hotṛ berkata: Wahai raja segala raja, rahsia purba ini—huraian tertinggi tentang kemuliaan lembu—telah diajarkan oleh Varāha kepada Dharaṇī (Bumi), wahai raja.
