Transliteration
matī́ juṣṭó dhiyā́ hitáḥ sómo hinve parāváti | víprasya dhā́rayā kavíḥ ||
Translation
Soma, daya pelihat (kavi), yang disayangi oleh bentuk-bentuk fikiran kami dan ditegakkan oleh kecerdasan yang tercerahkan, didorong maju di hamparan yang jauh terbentang; oleh arus yang mengalir ia menambah aliran penglihatan sang vipra (yang terilham).
