Sukta 8.99
अनर्शरातिं वसुदामुप स्तुहि भद्रा इन्द्रस्य रातयः । सो अस्य कामं विधतो न रोषति मनो दानाय चोदयन् ॥
ánarśarātiṃ vasudā́m úpa stuhi bhadrā́ índrasya rātáyaḥ | só asya kā́maṃ vidható ná roṣati máno dānā́ya codáyan ||
Hampirilah dengan pujian Sang Pemberi harta, yang kurnianya tidak pernah susut; berkat dan sejahtera ialah anugerah-anugerah Indra. Dia tidak murka kepada pemuja yang menyusun kehendaknya dengan benar, yang menggerakkan hati menuju perbuatan memberi.
