Sukta 8.20
मर्तश्चिद्वो नृतवो रुक्मवक्षस उप भ्रातृत्वमायति । अधि नो गात मरुतः सदा हि व आपित्वमस्ति निध्रुवि ॥
mártaś cid vo nṛtavo rukmá-vakṣasa úpa bhrātṛtvám ā́yati | adhí no gāta marutaḥ sadā́ hí va ā́pi-tvam ásti ní-dhruvi ||
Bahkan seorang insan fana pun, wahai para penari berdada emas, dapat mendekati persaudaraan kamu. Maka datanglah dan duduklah dalam diri kami, wahai Marut—kerana kekerabatan dekat kamu sentiasa ada, teguh dan tidak tergoyahkan, sedia untuk digerakkan.
