Sukta 7.56
दशस्यन्तो नो मरुतो मृळन्तु वरिवस्यन्तो रोदसी सुमेके । आरे गोहा नृहा वधो वो अस्तु सुम्नेभिरस्मे वसवो नमध्वम् ॥
daśasyánto no marúto mṛḷantu varivasyánto ródasī suméke | āré go-hā́ nṛ-hā́ vadhó vo astu sumnébhiḥ asmē vasavo namadhvam ||
Semoga para Marut, yang memuliakan kami dan melapangkan jalan kami, berbelas kepada kami—mereka yang elok, yang berkhidmat kepada dua dunia (rodasī). Jauh daripada kami biarlah pembunuh cahaya dan pembunuh jiwa; dengan ilham-ilham baikmu, wahai Vasus, tunduklah kepada kami sebagai pertolongan.
