pṛṣṭó diví dhāyy agníḥ pṛthivyā́ṃ netā́ síndhūnāṃ vṛṣabháḥ stiyā́nām | sá mā́nuṣīr abhí víśo ví bhāti vaiśvānaró vāvṛdhānó váreṇa ||

Translation

Ditegakkan tinggi di langit yang bercahaya, Agni ditempatkan; di bumi ia menjadi Pemimpin arus-arus dan Banteng perkasa bagi asas yang teguh. Ia bersinar meliputi kaum manusia—Vaiśvānara, yang bertambah oleh keunggulan yang terpilih, meluaskan hamparan cahaya jiwa.
