Sukta 6.2
त्वं हि क्षैतवद्यशोऽग्ने मित्रो न पत्यसे । त्वं विचर्षणे श्रवो वसो पुष्टिं न पुष्यसि ॥
tváṃ hí kṣáitavád yáśo 'gne mitró ná pátyase | tváṃ vícarṣaṇe śrávo vaso púṣṭiṃ ná púṣyasi ||
Sesungguhnya Engkau, wahai Agni, ialah penguasa—seperti sahabat—atas wilayah yang menetap, berkilau dengan kemasyhuran; Engkau memerintah kemuliaan itu. Engkau, wahai yang luas penglihatan, menambah śravas (kemasyhuran yang bercahaya) dan kepenuhan vástu (harta/substansi), sebagaimana seseorang memupuk pemakanan itu sendiri.
