Sukta 5.52
आ रुक्मैरा युधा नर ऋष्वा ऋष्टीरसृक्षत । अन्वेनाँ अह विद्युतो मरुतो जज्झतीरिव भानुरर्त त्मना दिवः ॥
ā́ rukmáir ā́ yúdhā nára ṛ́ṣvā ṛ́ṣṭīr asṛkṣata | ánv enā́n áha ví-dyuto marúto jajjhatī́r-iva bhā́nur arta tmánā diváḥ ||
Dengan sinar keemasan, dengan senjata, para wira telah melepaskan lembing-lembing mereka yang menjulang; sesudah mereka sungguh kilat-kilat menyusul—seperti nyala yang berkeretak—cahaya langit bergerak dengan kuasanya sendiri.
