कनिक्रदज्जनुषं प्रब्रुवाण इयर्ति वाचमरितेव नावम् । सुमङ्गलश्च शकुने भवासि मा त्वा का चिदभिभा विश्व्या विदत् ॥

Transliteration

kaníkradaj januṣáṁ pra-bruvāṇá iyárti vā́cam aritā́ iva nā́vam | su-maṅgálaś ca śakune bhávāsi mā́ tvā kā́ cid abhi-bhā́ víśvyā vidat ||

Translation

Sejak kelahiranmu engkau berseru dan menyatakan; engkau menggerakkan suaramu seperti pendayung menggerakkan perahunya. Jadilah petanda baik, wahai burung; janganlah sebarang kuasa permusuhan yang menyeluruh menimpamu.
