ví vā́ta-jūto ataséṣu tiṣṭhate vṛ́thā juhū́bhiḥ sṛ́ṇyā tuvi-sváṇiḥ | tṛṣú yád agne vaníno vṛṣāyáse kṛṣṇáṃ te éma ruśád-ūrme ajara ||

Digerakkan oleh daya Angin, Kuasa yang menyala itu menonjol di antara perahan-perahan; dengan senduk-senduk persembahannya ia tidak bersusah payah sia-sia—arus tenaga yang kuat bergema. Apabila, wahai Agni, engkau menggelora seperti banteng di tengah tumbuhan yang dahaga, maka halangan gelapmu terpecah dan gelombang-gerakmu yang terang memancar.
