य॒ज्ञो ब॑भूव॒ स आ ब॑भूव॒ स प्र ज॑ज्ञे॒ स उ॑ वावृधे॒ पुनः॑ । स दे॒वाना॒मधि॑पतिर्बभूव॒ सो अ॒स्मासु॒ द्रवि॑ण॒मा द॑धातु
yajñó babhū́va sá ā́ babhū́va sá prá jajñe sá u vāvṛ́dhe púnaḥ | sá devā́nām ádhipatir babhū́va só asmā́su dráviṇam ā́ dadhātu
Sacrifice came to be; yea, he was fully come to be: he was born forth, and verily he waxed again. He became the Gods’ over-lord; may he set wealth among us, may he bestow substance hither upon us.
Yajña menjadi ada; ya, ia sepenuhnya menjadi ada: ia lahir ke hadapan, dan sesungguhnya ia tumbuh kembali. Ia menjadi penguasa atas para Dewa; semoga ia menempatkan kekayaan dalam kalangan kami, semoga ia mengurniakan harta-benda ke mari kepada kami.
