yā́m te cakrúḥ kṛ̀kavākā́vaje vā́ yā́m kurīríṇi | avyā́m te kṛtyā́m yā́m cakrúḥ púnaḥ práti harāmi tā́m ||
What witchcraft they have wrought against thee in the goat-stall, or what in the women’s chamber; what kṛtyā they have made against thee among the ewes—that same I bear back again in return.
Rishi: Atharvanic seer (traditionally Atharvan/Angiras-associated for kṛtyā hymns; specific attribution varies by anukramaṇī).
Devata: Kṛtyā (as hostile entity) and the counteracting Atharvanic power of reversal (prati).
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh (predominant in AV counter-charm verses; here in two pādas with refrain-like closure).
Primary: raudra
Secondary: vira
