anasthā́ḥ pūtā́ḥ pavanéna śuddhā́ḥ śúcayaḥ śúciṃ ápi yanti lokám | náiṣāṃ śíśnaṃ prá dahati jātávedāḥ svargé loké bahú stráiṇam eṣām
Boneless, purified, cleansed by the purifier, the pure go unto the pure world. Jātavedas burneth not their member: in the heavenly world abundant is their women’s portion.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition
Devata: Jātavedas (Agni) and the ‘pure world’ (śuci loka) as destination
Chandas: Triṣṭubh-like cadence (longer pādas; not strict in this transmitted form)
Primary: adbhuta
Secondary: shringara
