Sukta 9
इ॒दं वि॒द्वाना॑ञ्जन स॒त्यं व॑क्ष्यामि॒ नानृ॑तम्। स॒नेय॒मश्वं॒ गाम॒हमा॒त्मानं॒ तव॒ पूरुष
idáṃ vidvā́nā́ñjana satyáṃ vakṣyā́mi nā́nṛtam | sanéyam áśvaṃ gā́m ahám ātmā́naṃ táva pū́ruṣa
This, O Collyrium, as one that knoweth, I will utter—truth, and not untruth: may I win a horse, a cow; may I win mine own self—O Person that is thine.
Ini, wahai Añjana, sebagai orang yang mengetahui, akan aku ucapkan—kebenaran, bukan dusta. Semoga aku memperoleh seekor kuda, seekor lembu; semoga aku memperoleh diriku sendiri—wahai Puruṣa yang milikmu.
