पु॒त्रमि॑व पि॒तरा॑व॒श्विनो॒भेन्द्रा॒वथुः॒ काव्यै॑र्दं॒सना॑भिः । यत् सु॒रामं॒ व्यपि॑बः॒ शची॑भिः॒ सर॑स्वती त्वा मघवन्नभिष्णक्

IAST Transliteration

putrám-iva pitarāv aśvinó bhā́ índrāvathuḥ kā́vyair daṃsanā́bhiḥ | yát surā́ṃ vyápibaḥ śácībhiḥ sárasvatī tvā maghavann abhiṣṇák

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

As parents a son, the two Aśvins—yea—protected thee, O Indra, with Kāvya-craft and wondrous powers; when thou didst drink the surā with thy efficacious might, Sarasvatī, O Maghavan, set thee forward in strength.

Translation

Seperti ibu bapa memelihara anaknya, kedua-dua Aśvin melindungimu, wahai Indra, dengan kepandaian Kāvya dan kuasa-kuasa menakjubkan; ketika engkau meminum surā dengan śacī (kekuatanmu yang berkesan), Sarasvatī, wahai Maghavan, menggerakkanmu maju dalam kekuatan.
