Himne satu-mantra ini memuji Vedamātā—Vāc/Śruti sebagai Ibu yang melahirkan kuasa Weda—serta menyeru Pāvamānī (daya penyuci) agar menggerakkan dvija menuju kemakmuran. Ia memohon senarai kesejahteraan yang lengkap—umur panjang dan nafas hayat, zuriat dan ternakan, kemasyhuran dan kekayaan—yang memuncak pada brahmavarcasa (cahaya kesakralan), lalu memeteraikan anugerah itu dengan mengarahkan kuasa-kuasa yang diseru supaya “berangkat ke brahmaloka” setelah mengurniakan pemberian tersebut.
Vedamātā is the Veda as Mother—Vāc/Śruti personified as the source of mantra-power, learning, and the distinctive radiance associated with Vedic life.
It asks for longevity and breath (āyus, prāṇa), family continuity (prajā), livelihood and resources (paśu, draviṇa), public honor (kīrti), and brahmavarcasa—sacral brilliance and authority grounded in Vedic purity.
That line functions as a ritual closure: after the blessing is granted, the invoked power is respectfully dismissed, sealing the effect and completing the act of invocation.
