Doa Atharvaveda satu ayat ini menyeru Brahmaṇaspati (Bṛhaspati), penguasa ucapan suci dan dorongan ritual, agar “bangkit” dan membangunkan para dewa melalui yajña. Kekuatan ringkasnya ialah āyurvardhana—penambahan jangka hayat dan prāṇa—serta pada masa yang sama menjamin tanda-tanda kemakmuran (zuriat, kekayaan ternakan, dan kemasyhuran) bagi yajamāna.
It is used to increase lifespan (āyus) and vital breath (prāṇa), and also to support prosperity—offspring, cattle/wealth, and good fame—for the yajamāna.
Because he embodies the power of sacred speech and ritual efficacy; the hymn asks him to rise and awaken the gods through yajña so the boons of life and prosperity become active.
