स यत् प्र॒तीचीं॒ दिश॒मनु॒ व्यच॑ल॒द् वरु॑णो॒ राजा॑ भू॒त्वानु॒व्यऽचलद॒पोऽन्ना॒दीः कृ॒त्वा

sá yát pratī́cīṃ díśam ánu ví acalat váruṇo rā́jā bhūtvā́nu ví ’calad ápo ’nnādī́ḥ kṛtvā́

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

When he moved forth following the western quarter, Varuṇa, having become King, moved forth thereafter, having made the Waters to be food-eaters.

Translation

Apabila ia bergerak maju menurut penjuru barat, Varuṇa, setelah menjadi Raja, bergerak maju sesudah itu, setelah menjadikan Air (Āpas) sebagai pemakan makanan.
