Transliteration

bahuṣu pratyāsannaṃ dhārmikaṃ bharmasamarthaṃ kaniṣṭham abhāryaṃ vā

Translation

Jika terdapat beberapa saudara yang layak, keutamaan diberikan kepada yang paling dekat, patuh pada dharma/undang-undang, mampu menanggung rumah tangga, yang lebih muda (jika sesuai), dan/atau yang belum beristeri.
