या सुजूर्णिः श्रेणिः सुम्नआपिर्ह्रदेचक्षुर्न ग्रन्थिनी चरण्युः । ता अञ्जयोऽरुणयो न सस्रुः श्रिये गावो न धेनवोऽनवन्त ॥

yā su-jūrṇíḥ śréṇiḥ sumné’āpír hradé-cákṣur ná granthinī́ caraṇyúḥ | tā́ añjáyo’ruṇáyo ná sasruḥ śríye gā́vo ná dhenávo’navanta ||

Wahai barisan yang mengalir cepat, kaya anugerah, bermata di dalam hati, tidak terikat-simpul melainkan bergerak bebas—mereka mengalir laksana salep kemerah-merahan; demi kemuliaan dan pertumbuhan mereka datang, laksana sapi, laksana lembu perah yang tak pernah mengecewakan.
