AV 19.22 મોડા સમયની અથર્વવેદીય અર્પણ-લિતની છે, જે ટૂંકા ટૂંકા ‘સ્વાહા’ સૂત્રોથી રચાયેલી છે; તે હવિષ્યને યોગ્ય ક્રમમાં ગોઠવાયેલા ગ્રાહી-વર્ગો સુધી ‘માર્ગિત’ કરીને પહોંચાડે છે. આ રીતે અર્પણ ખોટી દિશામાં જઈ અયોગ્ય ગ્રાહી સુધી ન પહોંચે તે રોકાય છે અને ક્રમબદ્ધ ફલસિદ્ધિ સુનિશ્ચિત થાય છે. શ્રેણીના અંતે બ્રહ્મનનું પરમ પ્રાધાન્ય—પવિત્ર શક્તિ અને પુરોહિતીય અધિકાર જ સર્વોચ્ચ વ્યવસ્થાક સિદ્ધાંત—એવું સ્પષ્ટ પ્રતિપાદન કરીને, યજ્ઞજીવનમાં સમૃદ્ધિ, રક્ષણ અને અગ્રતા સ્થિર કરે છે.
