Transliteration

yáthā pū́rvebhyaḥ śatásā́ amṛ́dhraḥ sahasrasā́ḥ pár yayā vā́jam indo | evā́ pavasva suvitā́ya návyase táva vratám anv ā́paḥ sacante ||

Translation

Comme jadis, ô Indu, tu allais tout autour, remportant le vāja au centuple, au millier, sans défaillance — ainsi purifie-toi maintenant pour une félicité nouvelle et plus vaste. Les Eaux suivent ton vrata; elles consentent à ta voie et soutiennent ton mouvement ordonné.
