पितुर्मातुरध्या ये समस्वरन्नृचा शोचन्तः संदहन्तो अव्रतान् । इन्द्रद्विष्टामप धमन्ति मायया त्वचमसिक्नीं भूमनो दिवस्परि ॥
pitúrmā́tur adhyā́ yé sám asvarann ṛcā́ śócantaḥ saṃdáhanto avratā́n | índradviṣṭām ápa dhamanti māyáyā tvájam ásiknīṃ bhū́mano divás pári ||
Du père et de la mère ils s’élèvent, par la ṛc, en un seul accord; brûlants, ils consument les sans-vœu, les sans-loi. Par la puissance de la māyā ils soufflent au loin la peau sombre, haïe d’Indra, depuis la vaste étendue autour du ciel.
