Rig Veda 9.113.11: Mandala 9, Sukta 113, Mantra 11

Sukta 9.113

Rishi: Soma Pavamāna cycle attribution (traditional).
Devata: Soma (Indu) as the bringer of ānanda; Indra in the refrain as the power that receives and upholds Soma-force.
Chandas: Jagatī (refrain cadence).

यत्रानन्दाश्च मोदाश्च मुदः प्रमुद आसते । कामस्य यत्राप्ताः कामास्तत्र माममृतं कृधीन्द्रायेन्दो परि स्रव ॥

Transliteration

yátrā́nandāś ca módāś ca múdaḥ pra-múda āsate | kā́masya yátrā́ptāḥ kā́mās tátra mā́m amṛ́taṃ kṛdhī́ndrā́yendo pári srava ||

Translation

Là où la béatitude et la joie, le ravissement et l’exultation prennent place; là où le désir (kāma) atteint ses objets obtenus — là, rends-moi immortel. Ô Soma d’Indra, coule tout autour et en nous.
