यस्ते साधिष्ठोऽवसे ते स्याम भरेषु ते । वयं होत्राभिरुत देवहूतिभिः ससवांसो मनामहे ॥

Transliteration

yás te sādhiṣṭhó’vase té syāma bháreṣu te | vayáṃ hotrā́bhir utá devá-hūtibhiḥ sasa-vā́ṃso manāmahe ||

Translation

Puissions-nous être tiens pour ce secours, le plus efficace des tiens, dans toutes les batailles que tu portes. Nous, avançant avec les hotra (paroles rituelles) et avec les devahūti, les appels qui amènent les dieux, nous t’aspirons et, dans notre esprit, nous te consentons.
