आ नो वायो महे तने याहि मखाय पाजसे । वयं हि ते चकृमा भूरि दावने सद्यश्चिन्महि दावने ॥

Transliteration

ā́ no vāyo mahé tánē yā́hi makhā́ya pā́jase | vayáṃ hí te cakṛmā́ bhū́ri dā́vane sadyáś cin máhi dā́vane ||

Translation

Viens à nous, ô Vāyu, pour la grande étendue ; viens pour l’œuvre sacrificielle (makhá) et pour la plénitude rayonnante de l’énergie. Car nous avons préparé pour ton don bien des choses ; oui, sur-le-champ nous avons disposé un vaste champ afin que descende ta largesse.
