Sukta 7.97
तमु ज्येष्ठं नमसा हविर्भिः सुशेवं ब्रह्मणस्पतिं गृणीषे । इन्द्रं श्लोको महि दैव्यः सिषक्तु यो ब्रह्मणो देवकृतस्य राजा ॥
tám u jyéṣṭhaṃ námasā havírbhiḥ suśévaṃ bráhmaṇaspátiṃ gṛṇīṣe | índraṃ ślóko máhi daívyáḥ sisaktu yó bráhmaṇo devákṛtasya rā́jā ||
Lui, l’Aîné, avec révérence et avec les offrandes je le chante — Brāhmaṇaspati, le bienfaisant. Que le grand chant divin s’attache à Indra, roi de la Parole façonnée par les dieux (Brahman).
