Sukta 7.86
पृच्छे तदेनो वरुण दिदृक्षूपो एमि चिकितुषो विपृच्छम् । समानमिन्मे कवयश्चिदाहुरयं ह तुभ्यं वरुणो हृणीते ॥
pṛ́cche tád éno váruṇa didṛ́kṣū́po émi cikítuṣo ví-pṛccham | samānám ín me kaváyaś cid āhur ayáṃ ha túbhyaṃ váruṇo hṛṇīte ||
Je m’enquiers de cette faute, ô Varuṇa, désirant la voir clairement ; je m’approche pour interroger celui qui sait, pour questionner l’avisé. Même les kavi me disent la même chose : « Ce Varuṇa, en vérité, s’irrite contre toi. »
