प्र पूर्वजे पितरा नव्यसीभिर्गीर्भिः कृणुध्वं सदने ऋतस्य । आ नो द्यावापृथिवी दैव्येन जनेन यातं महि वां वरूथम् ॥

Transliteration

prá pūrvajé pitarā́ návyasībhiḥ gīrbhíḥ kṛṇudhvam sádane ṛtásya | ā́ no dyāvāpṛthivī daívyena jánena yātam máhi vāṃ várūtham ||

Translation

Ô Parents nés avant, façonnez par des chants toujours neufs votre présence au siège du Ṛta. Venez à nous, Ciel et Terre, avec le peuple divin (les puissances) ; vaste est votre enceinte protectrice autour de nous.
